We believe accurate financial information, freely accessible to everyone, is a basic right, which is why we automatically update our prices every few minutes from global financial data sources, rather than relying on slow manual updates like many similar sites.

How We Calculate Prices

Our base pricing relies on the live global ounce price (in US Dollars), converted into each local currency using exchange rates updated continuously throughout the day, not a fixed morning figure.

We add an estimated market markup to the raw price, reflecting the actual gap between the pure global rate and real local market selling prices for each country. We periodically review this markup (and in some countries, automatically on a daily basis) to ensure the highest possible accuracy against real market sources.

Prices shown on the site represent the raw metal value only, excluding making charges or local taxes, and actual retailer prices may vary based on additional factors beyond our control, such as shop reputation and location.

Our Commitment to Transparency

We always clarify the difference between sell and buy prices, and between the local price and its global equivalent, so visitors clearly understand the source of every figure shown on the site, rather than receiving a single number without context.
